Guide To Disneyland Paris – Tips And Tricks To Know Before You Go

Disneyland Paris is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. People all over the globe pack their bags and head to Europe for an amazing experience. If you’re looking for ideas on what to do, where to go, and how long your trip should be, read this article! It’ll set you up with a guide to Disneyland Paris that you won’t want to leave without.

This article will give tips and tricks and guide you on where to book your Disneyland Paris Tickets, where to go, what to do, and what to see when you visit Disneyland Paris.

About Disneyland Paris

Here’s a little background information about Disneyland Paris. It’s located outside of the European capital city of Paris. It’s an hour away from central Paris by train. If you’re going by car, it’d just take 35 minutes (depending on traffic).

  • It’s open 365 days a year, meaning you can always visit it. So, if you’re looking for a trip to Disneyland Paris, I suggest you go as soon as possible after booking your tickets.

What To Do In Disneyland Paris

There are two different parks at Disneyland in France: Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. I’m going to focus on the first one, the main park where all the rides and attractions are located. You can get the Disneyland Paris Tickets from here to skip the queue.

  • The main red and yellow ticket you’ll need to enter the park is a ‘Parkhopper.’ You can buy one at the entrance for 5 euros, allowing you to visit both parks.
  • The first park represents classic Disney movies, characters and magic. You’ll see some of your favorite movies here, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. You can also see Mickey walking around on his little mouse wheels.
  • The second part is called Disney Village, which is more of a Paris recreation. You’ll find many shops and restaurants, as well as some street performers, like the gypsies in the picture below.
  • Some rides you can go on here include the teacups at Carousel Gardens, The Magic Carpets in Toon Studio, The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • Another thing you can do is visit the Disney Parades throughout the day. There are a lot of different parades, so check the Boulevard des Stars for your schedule.
  • If you want to ensure you don’t miss anything, you should get one of these FastPasses!
  • These FastPasses let you pay Disney an extra fee when you buy your tickets, allowing you to enter a time slot on any ride that’s several hours away. It may be a little pricey, but it could mean the difference between you not being able to ride Pirates of the Caribbean or getting that flat tire on Peter Pan.

Here’s a list of all rides that you can go on in Disneyland Paris. If you have any questions about the park, check out their website for your ride times and location:

Where To Eat At Disneyland Paris

Suppose you’re looking to eat while in Disneyland Paris; there are a few different choices for dining. You can choose to eat in the park, offsite, or take the Disney Train out of the park and into Downtown Disney for some other food choices.

Disneyland Park

There are two different restaurants in Disneyland Park: Fast-Food and Character Restaurants. They’re both the same price, and they’re both found in the same place, which is called Disney Village.

Character restaurants are very much Disney’s version of a fast food restaurant. They have very good food, but it’s probably not the best food you can get. I didn’t think it was that great, so if you’re looking for something good, I will stick with Disney FoodPix.

The rides in Disneyland Park include Ratatouille, The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.

If you’re picky about what kind of food you eat, go as soon as possible after the park opens. It gets really busy right at opening time.

Disney Village

This is where all of the fast food and character restaurants are located, and it’s open most of the day. It closes at 9:00 pm and reopens at 7:00 am the next day.

The rides in Disney Village include Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Offsite Restaurants

One restaurant offsite is located outside of Disneyland Park, but it’s not as close as the others. Some people even call it ‘the other park.’ It’s located a few minutes down the road, near Medieval Landings Castle.

Food and grocery stores are also located in Downtown Disney.

Where To Stay At Disneyland Paris

This is the most important part of this post because it’s where you will spend the most time when you’re not at Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Hotels There are 4 hotels you can stay at while you’re in Disneyland Paris, and they’re all located outside the park. The Hotels are Hotel New York, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe and Hotel Newport Bay Club. They’re not very close to the park, but they are all located near a Disney Train Station.

There is also another hotel located in Downtown Disney that has its entrance into Disneyland Park called Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne. It’s considered one of the best hotels at Disneyland Paris, but it’s more of a resort than a hotel.

Dinner and Breakfast: All hotels offer dinner and Breakfast, and you can order those meals at any time of the day. For example, if you’re staying in Hotel New York, you can order dinner at 9:00 am, and Breakfast at 7:30 am.

If you’re not picky about which hotel you stay in, I’d recommend staying in one of the hotels located outside of Disneyland Park. They’re not that expensive, and they have really good food.

There is also a Castle Club inside Disneyland Park where you can stay, but only a certain number of rooms are available. It’s one of the more expensive hotels you can stay at in Disneyland Paris, so it’s worth it if you want to go to the park every day.

Disneyland Paris is a park larger than Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, so it may take you longer to go through the entire park, but if you want to do everything they have to offer, you’re going to want to go through those 2 parks first.

If you’re looking for something different other than rides and food, go to Japan or Hong Kong.
