Below is a list of five reasons why you should not miss the drama that airs every day at 9 p.m. WAT on DStv Channel 118.

1. You like surprises that you haven’t seen before: To avoid giving anything away about the plot of The Scent of Passion, I’ll just say that it includes an impossible love triangle that you won’t want to miss. Sebastian Vallejo (William Levy), the son of the affluent and wealthy Octavio Vallejo, who has been living in the United States since his father’s death, returns home after his father’s death to take up the family’s obligations. Soon after, he meets Gaviota, and a strong attraction develops between the two of them.

An ex-girlfriend from his previous relationship, Lucia (Carmen Villalobos), is determined to ruin everything between them and get back together with Sebastian for her own selfish motives, which puts their budding romance in jeopardy.

2. A dramatic and malevolent family: In this drama series, the term “toxic family” is given a whole new meaning. Sebastian’s family is more interested in projects than they are in actual development. Because of the evil and cruel planning of Sebastian’s brother Ivan and Sebastian’s former girlfriend Lucia, not only is Sebastian and Gaviota estranged, but they are also at odds with one another. Also, they come from completely different worlds, and they must struggle with anybody or anything that tries to keep them apart.

3. The themes presented in The Scent of Passion would connect strongly with a Nigerian audience since they are relevant to their culture. No, it is not by chance that there are so many Passionistas in this place. As you ride along with an outstanding cast and crew, showcasing the finest of culture and creativity, you will be immersed in this enthralling impossible love tale.

4. Unfulfilled promises: Octavio did not have enough time before his death to record the prize he had promised to Gaviota. Because of this, she is forced to battle in order to ensure that the family honors the vow made by Octavio. Gaviota, in his attempts to persuade the Vallejo family to honor the commitment, faces a great deal of resistance from the family, particularly from Sebastian’s brother Ivan (Diego Cadavid) and Julia (Julia Roberts) (Luces Velasquez).

Five. The perfect coffee-themed setting: The Scent of the passion teaser is a novel about love and heartbreak, packed with romance and suspense, and it is set in Colombia’s coffee-growing region. Sebastian and Gaviota have a same ambition, although coming from very different backgrounds: to create exceptional coffee.
